Use the HostSalt Panel to manage all aspects of your cloud hosting, including website files, databases, scheduled tasks, backups, and SSL certificates.

File Manager

Steps:

1. Log in to the HostSalt Panel: https://panel.hostsalt.com.

2. Go to File Manager.

3. Use the interface to:

    

   • Upload/download files.

   • Edit files directly (HTML, PHP, CSS).

   • Create, rename, or delete folders.

    

Tips:

• Keep backups before editing files.

• Avoid deleting system files accidentally.

Databases

Steps:

1. Log in to HostSalt Panel.

2. Go to Databases → Select your database.

3. Tasks you can perform:

    

   • Create/Delete databases.

   • Add/Remove users and set permissions.

   • Backup and restore database content.

    

Tips:

• Use strong passwords for database users.

• Regularly backup your database before major updates.

Cron Jobs

Steps:

1. Navigate to Cron Jobs in the HostSalt Panel.

2. Click Add New Cron Job.

3. Enter your command and select schedule (e.g., daily, hourly).

Tips:

• Test cron scripts before scheduling.

• Avoid running heavy scripts too frequently.

Backups

Steps:

1. Go to Backups in HostSalt Panel.

2. Click Create Backup → Select files/databases to back up.

3. To restore, select backup → Click Restore.

Tips:

• Maintain multiple backup points.

• Schedule regular backups to prevent data loss.

SSL Certificates

Steps:

1. Navigate to SSL Certificates in HostSalt Panel.

2. Click Install New Certificate.

3. Follow the prompts to enable HTTPS for your domain.

Tips:

• Check SSL status regularly to avoid expired certificates.
